As most of you know, I'm taking a big ol' trip with none other than Jill Davis. We leave July 15 and will be hitting up South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and San Francisco. We will be staying with our friends James and Hannah in Pretoria and tooling around SA for two and a half weeks - Johannesburg, Cape Town, Kruger Park and the like. If things go as planned, I'll see penguins AND lions.
The second leg of the trip is a week in Australia. We will be splitting our time between Sydney and Darwin. Because we are traveling during the winter, we decided to forgo Kangaroo Island in favor of sun, beaches and Australian lifeguards in the beautiful Darwin.
It only makes sense that we head on over to New Zealand next. We will be spending six days in Auckland. Our plan is to do some hiking and biking.
I'm vaccinated, visa'ed and raring to go. All that's left is for me to fill my traveler's diarrhea prescription. I think we all know I'll need it.
